Dr. Ruth Conroy-Dalton, UCL - Co-Investigator Ruth Conroy-Dalton is a Lecturer in Architectural Morphology and Theory at the Barlett School of Graduate Studies. Her research interests include spatial navigation and cognition, visibility field analyses/measures and virtual environments / virtual social spaces. She was guest editor for a special edition of the journal Environment and Behavior on the topic of Spatial Cognition, and is a Chartered Architect with many years' practice experience. |

Dr. Shi Nan, Urban Planning Society of China - Network Member Secretary General of Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC), and Executive Chief Editor of City Planning Review, Dr. Shi Nan has been engaged in both academic and practice in planning for over 25 years. His currrent research involves Revisions to Planning Act, PRC(MoC), National Norm for Planning Terminology(MoC), Demand of Continuing Planning Education in China(World Bank), Planning, Management and Development in 21 Century(UNDP), and Spatial Strategy for City of Yinchuan(World Bank) among others. He has published numerous papers and books. |

Prof. Marcial Echenique, Cambridge - Network Member Marcial Echenique is professor of Land Use and Transport Studies and Head of Architecture at the University of Cambridge. He has also acted as a consultant to numerous government and local authorities and has directed a number of major planning studies financed by international institutions such as The World Bank and The United Nations. |

Dr. Tony Hargreaves, Cambridge - Network Member Tony Hargreaves is Cambridge Futures' Transport Planner. Tony is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from Leeds University and a B.Sc., 1st Class Honours in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University. Tony joined Cambridge Futures in January 2002 from the Bedford office of the URS Corporation. |

Prof. Liu Kecheng, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology - Network Member Liu Kecheng is the Dean of the School of Architecture at XUAUT, and Director of the Architectural Society of China. His research focuses on cultural heritage conservation in Xi’an. As the chief architect, he made the preservation planning from city scale to national cultural heritage park, historical block and historical buildings, and designed some important museums in Xi’an. The most representative one was Museum of Hanyangling which has important role in preservation of cultural heritage around China. |

Prof. Zheng Shiling, University of Tongji - Network Member Zheng Shiling is the Director of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Space at Tongji University, having previously held the positions of Dean ofthe College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and Vice President of Tongji University. He is Chief Curator for the Theme Deduction of EXPO 2010, Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination (since 2005). His research focuses on the architectural history of Shanghai, and theory and history of architecture and urban development. |

Prof. Chen Yi, University of Tongji - Network Member Prof. CHEN Yi is a full professor at College of Architecture & Urban Planning in Tongji University,First Class Registered Architect of the P. R. China, visiting professor at Pavia University in Italy, vice director of Interior & Exterior Environmental Design Committee of Architectural Society of Shanghai. Prof. Chen’s recent research focuses on ecological architectural design and ecological urban design, he has published several books and papers on this research area, such as “The Design of Ecological Residential Communities”, “The Theory of Sustainable Development in Urban Settlements”, etc. |

Prof. Bill Randolph, University of New South Wales - Network Member Bill Randolph joined the Faculty of the Built Environment at the University of New South Wales in August 2004 as Professor and Director of the City Futures Research Centre. He is also Deputy Director of the UNSW/UWS AHURI Research Centre. For the previous six years he was Director of the Urban Frontiers Program at the University of Western Sydney. At UNSW he leads a research team specializing in housing policy, urban development and metropolitan planning policy issues. Bill has 30 years experience as a researcher on housing and urban policy issues in the academic, government, non-government and private sectors. |
