The activities of the CHaMSpaM network fall into four streams:
1. Network construction, contact making and expansion.
2. A programme of focused workshops aimed at identifying streams of interest, natural partnerships for collaborative research, and shared research goals.
3. A stream of bid preparation for collaborative research initiatives, running in parallel to the workshops.
4. An international academic symposium in which invited speakers including the network membership will present papers discussing the range of issues identified and developed during the project, including live research projects that have resulted.
